Job description

: The Product Connections Recruiting Manager supports our field operations team and is responsible for directing the sourcing, recruitment, and onboarding of key hourly positions. The Recruiting Manager directs national, regional, and local staffing strategies and practices to ensure staffing goals are achieved and new hires are effectively onboarded and trained.

Essential Responsibilities:

* Establishes innovative, repeatable and sustainable sourcing and staffing strategies and practices to consistently meet established staffing goals.
* Works closely with schedulers and recruiters to address hard to fill positions, using available tools including referral bonuses, university and career fairs, creative employment branding, and more.
* Ensures local onboarding and training programs and efforts are current and adhered to.
* Directs a national staffing and training team whose performance will be measured regularly and against objective key performance indicators (KPIs), ensuring that each has a strong working knowledge of all applicable federal, state and local employment laws and regulations.
* Regularly publishes the team's progress in achieving stated objectives and meeting all KPIs.
* Collects candidate, new hire and management feedback regularly to understand the effectiveness of all staffing and training efforts to modify approach, programs, and practices accordingly.
* Remains current on new and upcoming sourcing and staffing innovations and technologies, including social media, networking, GIG solutions, etc.
* Understands and applies relevant federal, state and local employment laws and regulations.
* Understands basic training and development programs.

Experience:

* Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field is preferred
* Experience staffing part-time positions with a strong understanding of the full-cycle staffing process and proven success in a fast-paced, high volume environment with national exposure.
* Minimum of two years in a supervisory role managing the work of a distributed staffing function.
* Familiarity with a broad range of different screening and selection techniques, including interviews, panel interview, competency-based interviews, online assessment tools, etc.
* Experience working with applicant tracking, sourcing, and human resources information systems, preferably UltiPro.
* Experience working with social media and job boards.

Certifications: None required.

Physical Requirements:

* Ability to sit, stand and/or walk for an extended period of time.
* Ability to operate a computer keyboard and mouse.
* Ability to use a computer for several hours at a time.
* Ability to effectively listen and talk to both internal and external audiences.
* Ability to read and understand information and ideas.
* Periodically, ability to moderately lift items and supplies.

Additional Requirements:

* Bring Your Own Device (BYOD): This position requires the use of a smart phone or tablet not provided by the company. The operating system must be Android OS 5.0+, or Apple 8.0+. The company offers $50 monthly cell phone reimbursement. A company laptop is provided.
* Strong computer and technical skills including Microsoft Office.

Travel and Language

* Minimal travel is required for this role.
* English is primary language skill.
