Job description

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our very established client located close to downtown Little Rock. If you have excellent accounting skills, can communicate well with internal and external customers, and are a quick learner, then check out this opportunity. You will direct and coordinate the accounting activities within the finance department by preparing various financial statements and reports as well as participating in internal and external audits.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and participate in preparation of various financial statements and reports
• Direct the maintenance of general and subsidiary ledgers, accounts receivable, revenue distribution, depreciation, cost, property, operating expenses, and insurance records.
• Direct internal audits involving accounting controls; participate in preparation of external audit materials and reporting
• Prepare statements and reports of estimated future costs and revenues

Background

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 2+ years of accounting experience
