Compensation may vary based on the job level and your geographic work location. Compensation Minimum:$76,900. Compensation Maximum:$123,200. Summary: Provides operational, analytical, functional and project support to American Family portfolio managers. Responsibilities include cross-platform trade execution and settlement support, data quality control, updating databases, system maintenance, process improvements and documentation, collateral management and conducting limited research projects. Completes trade settlements, security master processing, daily position reconciliations, and cash management across an array of asset sectors and products. This is the senior- level role in the operations analyst/specialist job family. In addition to handling most complex operations processes, incumbent focuses analysis, reporting and leading department projects. This level is filled base upon business need. Job Description: Primary Accountabilities: Directs, review and preparation of standard and adhoc reporting. Analyzes information, reviews trends and provides recommendations to leadership. Leads intradepartmental process improvement and project initiatives. Participant in interdepartmental and firm-wide project work. Serves as primary liaison to internal audit and internal controls. Prepares information and coordinates with internal audit and performs internal control checks. Performs daily oversight of Trade Support Services (outsourced operations) is performed and in accordance with established Service Level Standards. Serves a secondary reviewer for accuracy and completeness of Security Master File set-ups, Standard Settlement Instruction entry, Counterparty configuration input, Start-of-Day processing results, cash and position reconciliation output, data loads and other activities. Acts as a point of escalation for Portfolio Managers for trade entry, compliance warnings and alerts, and cash management issues. CoordinatesNew Account Setup and Account Close/Transfers. Coordinates any additions, deletionsor changes to user entitlements. Specialized Knowledge and Skills Requirements: Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support or service. Demonstrated financial services operations experience within an insurance company, asset manager, bank or related industry firm. Solid knowledge of the financial services industry and, in particular, the role and purpose of markets and the process of investing and of the technical, investment and settlement characteristics of the main investment products debt, equity, security lending and derivatives. Basic knowledge and understanding of investment strategy and the investment decision-making process. Strong written and verbal communications skills. Solid knowledge of operational support risks and experience offering mitigation strategies. Demonstrated experience reviewing and analyzing financial reports data. Demonstrated experience leading operational project or participating in divisional projects: Additional Job Information: Experience in derivatives would be advantageous in this role. BlackRock Aladdin system usage and vendor management experience a plus. Candidates should be highly proficient with Microsoft Excel: We are open to candidates working remotely anywhere in the United States. We are also open to candidates working at our Investment office in Madison, WI or a hybrid situation. Periodic travel into the office is expected. Relocation assistant may be available.
