Primary Functions: The Warehouse Operations Associate is responsible for scanning inbound freight, ensuring freight is received in the correct manner, checking for damages, verifying consignee information, check weight, DIM, and process in a timely manner. Basic Qualifications: A highly effective Warehouse Operations Associate will verify freight shipment accuracy, promptly receive and scan shipments, keep work areas clean, and ensure that supplies and mechanics are kept in working order. Position Responsibilities: Assist shipping and receiving unloading trucks, scanning in merchandise, matching purchase orders to sales orders and shipment processing. Following safety regulations. Maintain warehouse supply level. Ensure mechanical appliances are in working order. Keep warehouse clean and organized. Read customer orders, work orders, shipping and receiving orders to determine items to be moved, gathered or distributed and/or shipped. File work orders or requests for materials, tools or other stock items and distribute items to shipping or to designated storage area. Record amounts of materials or items received or distributed via appropriate computer program. Weigh and count items for distribution within facility to ensure conformance to company standards. Education and/or Experience Qualifications: High school or GED, plus specialized schooling and/or on the job education in a specific skill area; e.g. data processing, clerical/administrative, equipment operation, etc. 12+ months related experience and/or training. Proficiency with Microsoft Office is required. Disclaimer.
