Job description
SageView Advisory group is looking for a Corporate Development Associate, a key contributor to the execution of our M&A strategy. The Corporate Development Associate will report to the Director of Corporate Development and will have responsibilities ranging from sourcing to financial analysis and execution in a highly dynamic and collaborative environment.

On December 30, 2020, SageView made the determination to partner with Aquiline to accelerate our vision of bringing individual wealth management and retirement advisory services together.
Responsibilities
· Support the development and improvement of a systematic and repeatable deal evaluation and execution process
· Actively participate in our M&A pipeline development and industry research, as well as build and maintain our proprietary sourcing database
· Sourcing of new transactions and recruiting opportunities, including the opportunity to contact and establish new prospects depending on skill and knowledge level
· Perform financial analysis and modeling in Excel, including baseline financials and forecasting synergies to inform valuations and deal structures
· Prepare presentations to management and Board of Directors on potential M&A opportunities and our corporate development strategy
· Coordinate and contribute to the execution of concurrent M&A opportunities through all stages of the pipeline while leveraging internal and external resources
· Specific activities include, but are not limited to, create information request lists, draft offer letters, coordinate the due diligence process, review of confidential materials and transaction documents
· Work closely with the Director of M&A Integration to ensure opportunities are integrated and acclimated efficiently and with as little friction as possible
· Ad-hoc analysis, research, and additional responsibilities as required
Skills
· Dedicated and strong attention to detail

· Strong corporate finance knowledge, including financial modeling, and basic accounting
· Proactive problem-solver
· Proficiency in MS Excel and Power Point is required
· Preferably minimum 5 years of applicable experience
· Industry knowledge is preferred (retail and institutional wealth management)
Occasional travel nationwide is required. Full-time position.
