QA Laboratory Technician - Biola, CA

What you will do:

* Adhere to all Quality Standard Operating Procedures and processes
* Responsible for testing of raw materials, In-process, and finished goods
* Obtain and test samples of materials according to standard procedures to ensure compliance with established internal specifications
* Supply testing information to corporate and send samples out as needed
* Maintain accurate and organized records of laboratory analysis
* Perform daily calculations, compare lab results to expected values and report variances to supervisor.
* Conduct instrument maintenance and calibration
* Operate equipment, record data, and use unsupervised discretion in the evaluation of data, often working without supervision.
* Maintain QC log books with complete documentation
* Report any quality, processing problems, and out-of-spec. conditions to the QA supervisor
* Maintain a clean, safe and orderly work environment and complete regular inventory checks of necessary lab items
* Prepares spreadsheets analyzing data and alerts supervisor of trends in data
* Scans, files, and keep records of all batch sheets and raw materials COAs

* Other duties as required

What you will bring:

* 2+ years of experience in a laboratory, or a degree that is considered equivalent required
* Computer experience necessary, including a working knowledge of MS office
* Knowledge of Chemistry and Mathematics
* Associates degree in chemistry or a related major preferred
