Job description
Knights Bridge Winery was founded by family members who celebrate a shared passion for wine and food, a love of farming, and a respect for nature. Our goal is to create delicious and perfectly balanced Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon wines, from our Estate vineyards in Knights Valley. This Fall, we will be moving into our new winery in Knights Valley while maintaining our offices in Calistoga.
We are seeking an outgoing and engaging administrative professional that must be organized, detail-oriented and thorough, and possess excellent communication, interpersonal and analytical skills. We are looking for a self-motivated, dedicated employee who has the ability to work independently and follow directives, reporting to members of the Executive Management team and Ownership. This individual must be capable of setting priorities, working under pressure and meeting deadlines with minimal supervision. Wine knowledge is preferred and previous experience in some capacity in the wine & spirits industry is desired.
Day-to-day responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Office Management - Answer Phones, Open and Sort Mail, Organize Bills, Order fulfillment, office systems maintenance and general office management
- Invoicing and Accounts Receivable, Managing Expense Reports and Account Payable, Inventory management and working with consulting Compliance providers
- Customer Service -trouble-shoot issues with/for the customers via phone/email
- Administrative Support for executive management team
- Support for Estate Manager on property in Knights Valley
- Executive Assistant Support, as needed, for ownership
Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree and/or five+ years experience in executive administration, experience working in a winery and a customer focused environment desirable.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, G-Suite, and calendar management. Experience in Salesforce and other wine industry software would be an advantage. Comfort working in and/or learning new computer programs/apps is expected.
- Excellent communication skills - verbal and written.
- A professional attitude and presence with a cooperative, team spirit, passionate about understanding company needs and offering proactive solutions.
- Ability to work overtime and some weekends if required.
- Candidates must be able to lift 40 pounds repeatedly in a day and possess a valid CA Drivers License.
