We are seeking a dynamic Sr. Human Resources Generalistwho is an experienced leader with providing analytical support to the Human Resources Department. About the job:
Essential Responsibilities
- The core responsibility is assisting the Human Resources Team with the administration of the department operations.
- Providing support in the following areas: recruiting, onboarding, HRIS maintenance, audits, maintenance of team member personnel records, and general administrative tasks.
- Ensures all human resource records are maintained in accordance with established Company policies and state and federal regulations.
- Has a general understanding of all Human Resources policies and procedures in order to educate Credit Union personnel and ensure compliance.
- Ensures employment and enrollment forms including W-4s, insurance, retirement, and benefits documents are current and complete.
- Assists with managing Worker's Compensation claims and provide documentation to injured team members in accordance to applicable laws.
Qualifications
Required Education/Skills and Experience:
- One (1) to three (3) years of related experience.
- High School Diploma or GED, and training in human resource management or equivalent education.
- Exceptional interpersonal and public relations skills.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the HR function, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Basic knowledge of California labor law.
- Well-organized and attentive to detail.
- Ability to develop strong, trusting relationships in order to gain support and achieve results.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment consistent with Premier America's policy and legal requirements.
