Overview of the Role - Business Analyst (Wealth Management)

Location: Concord, CA

Duration: Full-Time


Role Description

Responsibilities include working on various client projects and help gather business requirements by interacting with the business users

Requires a bachelor's degree in Technology or related areas and at least 4 years of experience in business/requirement analysis. Familiar with a variety of the financial services concept, practices and operations. Rely on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Lead and direct the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.


Responsibilities:

• Discuss and elicit business requirements from the stakeholder

• Document the requirements/ business process flow in the form of user stories

• Communicate the business requirement to the development teams

• Help the development teams by doing data profiling and identifying sources for specific data elements

• Resolve the development and QA team queries about the business requirements

• Perform the first level of business validation post-development to ensure the development is as per the requirements

• Demo the developed functionality to the business users before UAT and capture user feedback


Must have :

• 4+ experience in Business Analysis.

• Experience in the Wealth Management domain

• Relevant industry experience- Broker-Dealers, MF companies, Asset Managers, TAMPs


Nice to Have:

Advance SQL/ Data Analysis skills
