Summary:
The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP)- Field is the primary HR contact for approximately half of all BevMo! stores. The role works collaboratively with Field Leaders (Region, District, and Area Managers) in the areas of employee relations, staffing and succession planning, engagement, retention, and other HR related matters. The HRBP will oversee key HR projects, and act as the liaison for the implementation of all HR programs and initiatives in BevMo!'s stores.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Talent Management
* Collaborate with Field Leaders to develop and execute strategic recruiting initiatives that support store-level staffing goals
* Communicate and support BevMo!'s hiring practices for store-level recruiting, while identifying opportunities for improvement
* Support succession planning processes to identify, prepare, and promote talent to next-level positions at the appropriate time
* Support BevMo! training initiatives to aid in the development of employees through increased skill sets, knowledge, and awareness across a variety of competencies
* Drive continuous employee engagement and partner with Field Leaders to support individual market action plans
* Drive employee retention and identify opportunities to reduce store-level turnover
* Support BevMo!'s compensation philosophies when advising on employee compensation decisions
* Support BevMo!'s performance management program by coaching and empowering managers to engage in effective developmental conversations
Employee Relations
* Work with managers to investigate, document, and resolve employee relations issues in retail locations
* Empower managers to resolve HR-related matters by providing coaching and guidance
* Evaluate the complexity and risk factors associated with each employee relations issue and escalate complicated matters to the Director of Human Resources
Compliance
* Conduct store visits, complete HR checklists, and provide training to Store Leadership to improve overall store-level compliance
* Support current and new organizational compliance programs
General HR Support
* Provide day-to-day support with general HR questions and inquires
* Provide support with HR-related systems
* Create and generate HR reports as needed
HR Programs & Projects
* Oversee new and current HR programs and special projects
* Provide input on future HR projects and initiatives that drive organizational goals
* Identify and communicate opportunities to improve efficiencies and simplify operations
* Support change management strategy during implementation of new initiatives in order to drive program effectiveness and adoption at the store level

* Ability to travel up to 40% of the time
Education & Experience:
* BA/BS or equivalent work experience
* 5+ years of human resources experience
* HRCI-PHR, SHRM-CP, HRCI-SPHR or SHRM-SCP certification strongly preferred
* Retail experience strongly preferred
