Summary

This operations professional is a key player in the daily operations and expansion GoMentum Station - the largest autonomous vehicle (AV) test facility in the United States. They will be responsible for ensuring the needs of GoMentum customers - Automotive OEMs, AV companies, and everything between - are met as GoMentum Station expands the scope, service, and amenities it provides its customers. This individual will collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Grants and Testing, and Operations peers to meet the objectives of the team. During the course of just one day, this person may interact with prospective testing partners, test engineers from multiple leading vehicle manufacturers, and on-site maintenance staff. An ability and desire to get your hands dirty on tasks from the minute to complex is a necessity, as is a strong sense of safety and responsibility.

Essential Functions

• Support day-to-day operations for 2,500-acre vehicle proving ground - maintain facility in good working order for customers
• Interact with customers, prospective partners, and other AAA team members to ensure continued access for AAA and its partners at the site
• Work with the Operations Lead to manage subcontractors for both regular service as well as one-off engagements
• Own the execution of ad-hoc customer requests
• Identify operational problems, develop and evaluate possible solutions and help select optimal solutions.
• Analyze business processes to find and solve inefficiencies.

Education & Experience/Licenses & Certification

• Bachelor's degree required
• 1-3 years of experience in operations
• Mobility Experience (Preferred)

Work Environment/Physical Requirements

• Role requires ability to be in the A3 office in Berkeley as well as on site at GoMentum Station in Concord (main location). Physical requirements include the ability to work in-field at GoMentum (sitting in temporary office space, standing outdoors in various test zones) as well as the ability to lift equipment as needed (up to 40 pounds).
