Job description

Responsible for talent acquisition across all functions including managing the full recruitment lifecycle from sourcing strategies to closing candidates. Partner with Human Resources, Marketing and other key stakeholders to optimize employer branding.

Primary Responsibilities:

* Lead the full recruitment lifecycle from sourcing, screening and closing candidates for all positions company-wide, including scientific, engineering and administrative roles.
* Create a candidate experience from start to finish that enhances our position in the market and differentiates Cerus as an employer of choice.
* Partner with hiring managers to develop varied sourcing strategies including social media, career fairs, advertising and when needed, external recruitment partners. Build relationships with hiring managers ensuring they understand their role in attracting and selecting talent and coaching hiring managers on how to enhance their networking and hiring skills.
* Management of the Applicant Tracking System and related OFCCP compliance requirements for the company's Affirmative Action Plan.
* Manage Affirmative Action goals and lead targeted recruitment and outreach efforts including associated record keeping.
* Grow and foster relationships with a database of qualified active and passive talent to pull from as new positions open.
* Develop and execute on plans to improve employer awareness and branding.
* Create weekly dashboards and other reports to measure performance.
* Define and lead projects focused on continuous improvement related to recruitment and onboarding processes.
* Perform other related duties as required

Qualifications/Requirements/Skills:

* Minimum of 5 years' experience with Scientific or Engineering Talent Acquisition.
* Experience in the Life Sciences/Biotech Industry desirable.
* Advanced knowledge using social media to source candidates.
* Demonstrated ability to lead initiatives and manage projects.
* Experience working with an Applicant Tracking System.
* Employer branding experience desirable.
* Excellent interpersonal skills and communication.
* Professional discretionary skills; ability to understand and deal with confidential matters.
* Flexible; ability to adapt to changing priorities.
