Job description

This position is for individuals seeking employment in a spa setting that allows you to share your passion for health and wellness while continuing to focus on career development and client service excellence. As the public face of the company the Sales Associate is responsible for dealing with any and all customer questions about the products and services the company offers. A Sales Associate is expected to be continuously updating their knowledge of the company products, services, and policies. Complaint handling is a critical part of this position. Turning a frustrated customer into a happy customer, while adhering to company policies, requires a combination of empathy and tact. Another key responsibility is maintaining the presentation of the sales floor, products, signage, and displays.

General qualification requirements are outlined below:

  • Friendly, customer-driven personality that is always polite and helpful
  • Retail sales experience of at least (1) year or more
  • Potential to fulfill part-time or full-time position between 15-30 hours per week
  • Works well on a team of like-minded individuals
  • Able to work flexible hours including weekends
  • Valid driver's license
  • Reliable transportation
  • High school diploma required - some college preferred
  • Marketing skill is a plus

Responsibilities:

  • Greeting customers, responding to questions, improving engagement with merchandise and providing outstanding customer service.
  • Operating cash registers, managing financial transactions, and balancing drawers.
  • Achieving established goals.
  • Increasing in-store sales.
  • Ability and willingness to learn about our products and services.
  • Maintaining an orderly appearance throughout the sales floor.
  • Introducing promotions and opportunities to customers.
  • Cross-selling products to increase purchase amounts.
  • Helping with customer returns, refunds and resolving common complaints
  • Taking general direction from spa management and ownership
  • Maintaining a minimum of preset sales average per week through excellent service and program scripting
  • Working on an individual basis (from time to time) when your manager may not be present at the spa location
  • Complying with all paperwork, organizational and membership standards that the spa will outline to you at the time of hire
  • Helping with outside marketing events and social media marketing

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
