Job description

Principal Responsibilities:

PAY RATE/STATUS: $22-$26 per hour DOE / Full-Time, Non-Exempt

Under the direct supervision of the HR Director, the HR Coordinator is responsible for providing general administrative and human resources support in the core operational processes and procedures of the department. The HR Coordinator will assist the HR Director with recruitment and onboarding, maintenance of personnel records, training, and ensuring compliance with all local and federal regulatory requirements. The incumbent in this role will assist with the administration of various employee benefit programs and will serve as a point of contact for employee requests and questions. The HR Coordinator shall ensure increasing levels of employee satisfaction, good human resources practices, and maintain overall compliance with the company's policies and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications:

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • HS Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Professional certificate in HR preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in an HR capacity is preferred but not required.
  • 2+ years' experience using ADP or other HRIS/time and attendance tracking systems is preferred but not required.
  • 2+ years experience in employee benefits administration preferred but not required.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with strong organizational skills and accurate data entry skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot system errors.
  • Excellent customer service skills with vendors and internal customers.
  • Ability to work closely with a variety of personalities and maintain calm under pressure.
  • Ability to learn and master new software.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Discreet, able to handle confidential and proprietary information appropriately. High level of integrity.
  • Advanced computer skills to include data entry, Word, and Excel.
  • CPR/AED/First Aid Certified within 6 months of being hired.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, and reach with hands and arms for long periods of time.
  • Occasional lifting, pulling, climbing, kneeling, and bending.
  • Regularly required to communicate.
  • Ability to do light lifting (maximum 25 lbs. - e.g. box of copy paper) as needed is required.
Salary:

45,000 - 55,000
