Solugenix is looking for a Business Analyst. This is a direct hire opportunity based out of Costa Mesa, CA.
Qualifications:
* 5+ years of experience in a similar role within the mortgage banking and/or financial services industry.
* 2 years of Empower experience preferred.
* College degree preferred (BA or BS preferred).
* Ability to troubleshoot issues impacting production.
* Ability to work independently and analyze data.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Responsibilities:
* Gather and translate precise business requirements into functional and technical business requirements.
* Ensure application functionality, including up-and down-stream interfaces.
* Analyze business tasks and workflow processes for product features and enhancements.
* Identify and address relevant business case scenarios to ensure a streamlined business process.
* Assists other technical teams in troubleshooting complex technical or end-user scenarios.
* Documents test scripts.
* Develop and document the business process workflow.
* Responsible for direct interaction with clients including, but not limited to, eliciting comprehensive business requirements and use cases and recommending appropriate solutions.
* Initiate and facilitate meetings with Business Subject Matter Experts.
* Work with the Technical team to develop a level of effort estimates and obtain applicable estimated costs to develop and deploy functionality.
* Conduct gap analysis between the existing application and the stated customer requirements to best collaborate with Architects, Developers, etc. to estimate project impacts.
* Partner with IT and Production Support teams to document desired changes.
* Manage multiple competing priorities through effective planning, organization, and communication.
* Recommend and implement best practices, proper methodology, and the correct tools for success.
* Other duties as assigned.
