Job description

A vertically integrated real estate development firm specializing in the design, development, construction, and operations of traditional, micro, and furnished rental housing is searching for a dynamic individual with experience in property management to join their team as Director of Property Management. The fast-growing company is developing a new concept of apartment living that offers unprecedent flexibility, affordability, and convenience to residents. The Director of Property Management will partner with CEO on the initial onboarding of their first local property and lead the build-out of their new property management division.

This individual must have excellent leadership skills, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and be able to work well under pressure to meet deadlines. Salary commensurate with experience. Apply today!

This is a hybrid position located in Culver City, CA. Must be located in the area to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with CEO on initial onboarding of first local property and first local property management employees including marketing, leasing, and maintenance staff members.
  • Oversee administration of property management operations.
  • Own the P&Ls for operating properties across the portfolio, ensuring that revenue and operating expenses are in line to meet or exceed expectations returns.
  • Oversight of all client and tenant relationships.
  • Oversight of all accounting, receivables and reconciliation processes.
  • Lead and supervise property management team.
  • Create annual operating budget for property management.
Qualifications
  • Position requires at least 5 years' experience in property management. (10+ years highly preferred)
  • College degree required.
  • Must have excellent leadership skills.
  • Must have excellent computer knowledge.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced and customer service-oriented environment.
  • Must perform duties under pressure and meets deadlines in a timely manner.
  • Must work as part of a team, as well as completes assignments independently.
