Senior Business Analyst, ServiceNow - Corporate IT

We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support ServiceNow who has experience working in IT System Management (ITSM), Configuration Management Database (CMDB), and Service Catalog areas. The Sr. Analyst will work with various business stakeholders to collect, clarify, analyze, and translate business requirements into functional and design documents. This position works in parallel with our development team to ensure requirements are technically feasible, plan and prioritize demands, and construct detailed user stories with acceptance criteria in an agile/scrum framework. The ability to conceptualize complex business processes and recognize areas for process optimization is a must.

Responsibilities:

• Perform a functional role with specific experience with the ITSM Applications (ITSM - CMDB, Change, Incident, Problem, Knowledge, Service Catalog, Service Portal)
• Lead and conduct requirement gathering sessions with Business Stakeholders to understand and document current and proposed processes
• Analyze current processes to provide recommendations for optimization
• Produce User Stories with detailed acceptance criteria and functional test scenarios, in accordance with agile best practice guidelines
• Produce workflow and process diagrams to translate business requirements into technical language for development team
• Perform functional testing, demo, and UAT with internal team and Business Stakeholders
• Deliver end-user trainings, workshops and release notes for production deployments
• Collaborate with technical and functional teams to prioritize stories and backlog grooming
• Lead small scale projects to deliver custom applications and systems integration solutions
• Contribute to the product roadmap for future direction and recommendations for the overall design of the application

Key outputs include:

• High- and low-level design documents and technical specifications for development and enhancement work efforts
• Solution strategies and designs
• Functional process design, process workflow deliverables
• Best practice documents and deliverables for area of expertise
• Educational and training deliverables
• Story writing and standard Agile/Scrum deliverables
• Manage communication between internal and external stakeholders
• Produce best practice documents for internal and external use

Qualifications:

• 4 to 6 years experience within the business analysis space
• At least 1 year of experience working within Service Now or a similar tool
• BA/BS preferred
• IT Information Library (ITIL) V4 Foundation, ServiceNow CSA Certification
• Certified ScrumMaster, ServiceNow System Admin certified would-be a plus
