Job Description Summary
Support a fun team of experienced, collaborative and successful advertising sales executives by helping everyone hit deadlines, managing projects through to completion, researching upcoming films and tv shows, holding the keys to in-demand inventory, being a back-up brain for outside sales reps and clients, financial reporting, and above all, remaining calm and flexible as the ground shifts beneath you. Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support to the Entertainment, Sports & Live Events sales team.
- Research upcoming Films & TV shows to find good fits for LAT Audience.
- Update appropriate pipelines and calendars to keep team focused and accountable.
- Manage client reservations and premium requests.
- Participate in brainstorm and ideation sessions for branded content or innovative pitches.
- Keep Client Points List to manage Calendar and Envelope Layouts.
- Help Clients stay aware of and meet deadlines.
- Work proactively with color and production contacts at the Printer to ensure good print quality for client ads.
- Project management on print innovative ideas including concept, pricing, feasibility.
- Support Consumer Marketing with execution of Entertainment & Sports Trade Agreements.
- Manage the Envelope Insiders List and Related Creative Requests and Mailings.
- Liase with Client Solutions, Consumer Marketing and ED on Film & TV Industry Outreach Programs.
- Assist ED with financial forecasting for Entertainment Team budgets and expenses.
Qualifications:
- Manage a keep sales pipelines and premium calendars for clients.
- Work directly with sales and other departments to help facilitate new products and opportunities.
- Manage deadlines and specs critical to your category.
- Maintain polite and professional communication via phone and e-mail.
- Hands on in the day to day of the sales cycle.
- Maintain category logistics and planning.
- In-depth understanding of office management and daily operations.
- Hands on experience with MS Office and Google Office Suite.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to multi-task and stay cool under pressure.
- Proven work experience as a sales assistant or account manager.
- Experience in Media, Advertising and/or Entertainment Preferred.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
