Job Title: Financial Controller

Job Summary:

The Controller is responsible for directing the financial activities of the organization. Establish, or recommend to management, major economic objectives and policies for the company. Some of the key duties include assisting with the preparation of the operating budgets, overseeing financial reporting, and performing all other essential duties. The Controller position monitors variances, summarizes trends, and investigates budget deficiencies. The Controller reports variances to management.

Duties:

• Lead the operations of the finance department which includes accounts payable, billings & collections, and payroll.
• Evaluate, implement and streamline policies, procedures, and controls.
• Work closely with internal and external partners to coordinate inventory counts and reconcile financial records.
• Assist in planning, creating, and implementing the annual budget.
• Excellent knowledge of accounting systems and software.
• Develop and maintain positive, collaborative working relationships with other team members within the department and throughout the company.
• Ability to adapt to an ever-changing environment

Education/Experience:

• 3+ years of healthcare experience in a lead Finance Position
• Audit experience in Healthcare
• Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finances, Business, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Accounting/Auditing

Requirements/Certification:

• CPA required
• Strong Computer Skills
• Advanced Excel, Quattro, or other workbook suites
