**Kelly** is proud to offer this FULL TIME Inventory Technician opportunity with a Incubator Laboratory in South San Francisco, CA. You will have a unique opportunity to work directly with customers in a biotech environment.

Schedule is M-F, 6am-2:30 preferred, or 7am-3:30pm.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

+ Under close supervision, responsible for carrying out basic tasks at customer site

+ Manage customer's warehouse inventory including delivery product replenishment (may require driving between facilities to deliver product).

+ Facilitate an order for consumable lab inventory replenishment; enter orders into computer systems, Web, etc.

+ Receive inbound shipments from UPS, Fed-ex, and other common carriers.

+ Responsible for handling hazardous material and preparing shipping documentation and packaging requirements.

MAJOR JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

+ Facilitates orders for consumable lab inventory replenishment

+ Manages customer's point of use or stockroom inventory

+ Responsible for logistical activities such as shipping and receiving of materials through coordination with 3rd party couriers

+ May handle and manage chemicals, including hazardous materials

+ Basic order entry and follow-up on existing backorders

+ Handles and manages chemicals, including hazardous materials

+ Maintains and checks safety stations

+ Updating and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures

+ Cleanroom garment management

+ May require traveling between customer sites

QUALIFICATIONS:

+ 1 -2 years equivalent experience in material handling/inventory replenishment or customer service

+ Spill containment training, IATA, DOT, IMDG and OSHA Right to Know a plus

+ Previous experience working in a GMP facility a plus

+ Valid Driver's License and transportation

+ Knowledge of scientific products and services a plus

+ Ability to understand and follow site protocols, policies and procedures

+ Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office with proficiency in Word and Excel

+ Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

+ Problem-solving skills
