Job description

Providing exceptional customer, operational and event support for San Manuel off site events. The HR Event Representative is responsible for visitor inquiries, questions and complaints; provides information, guidance and direction on event programs, processes, and procedures to team members and managers. This position is responsible for performing the duties in a front facing event center with minimal supervision and instruction, and a high degree of customer service. The HR Event Representative must have proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion and be adaptable to various competing demands.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

1. Enthusiastically greet, and direct guests while performing assigned tasks (i.e. check in, visitor directing). Proactively approach guests that may have an issue and/or complaints. Responsible for assisting visitors including but not limited to addressing inquires related to all event services and instructions for navigating their application process.

2. Tracks visitor and caller information to compile activity logs. Audits activity logs and partners with recruiters to promote appropriate follow up

3. Collaborates effectively with others in order to execute tasks and fulfill key deliverables within the event center in order to maintain efficiency of operations. Integrates efficiently with team members in the functional area(s), seeking input/assistance as needed.

4. Assist new hires and current employees with troubleshooting minor technology or system issues specific to the application.

5. Ensures safety, help to maintain the cleanliness of the venue and engage with guests to assist with their needs before, during and after the show. Assists with event opening and closing duties needed to operate site

6. Performs other duties as assigned

Education/Experience/Qualifications

* High School Diploma or GED
* Minimum one (1) year of front facing Customer Service experience required.
* Experience in the Hotel/Casino/Hospitality industry or other customer/guest experience, a plus.
* Excellent customer service orientation and strong oral and written communication skills.
* Strong problem solving skills required to provide technical advice to address and resolve problems.
* Bilingual in Spanish or other languages a plus.

Certificates/Licenses/Registrations

* At the discretion of the San Manuel Tribal Gaming Commission, you may be required to obtain and maintain a gaming license.
