Description:
Working closely with PacSci leadership and site HR teams, The HR Intern will support elements of critical HR processes to help drive business results. In collaboration with the Process Excellence Leader and site HR Managers, the HR Intern will help with optimizing HR team efficiency to support the business.
Essential Functions and Potential Projects Include:
• Develop Career Ladders for Engineering and Technical talent
• Develop Skills Matrices for Engineering and Technical talent
• Assess engagement health of various parts of the organization and measure the impact on productivity/ operations performance
• Support employee relations activities and processes as needed
• Assist with performance management process improvements
• Assess onboarding processes and provide recommendations for improvements
• Analyze social media recruiting through linked In and other social media outlets
• Establish and maintain relationships with HR and business leaders to gain an understanding of business objectives and goals.
• Support the implementation of key HR programs and processes
• Conduct data reporting and analysis (qualitative and quantitative) across functional areas of HR to identify areas for improvement
Qualifications:
Basic qualifications
• Enrolled in Bachelor's degree program in HR or related field
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proficiency in MS Excel and other business software
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple projects
Preferred qualifications
• Ability to adapt & respond effectively to a rapid and complex changing work environment
• Communicate confidently, accurately, and effectively across all employee levels
• Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously with orientation on results
• Ability to be comfortable with a dynamic workload and not resistant or afraid to "roll up your sleeves"
• Excellent interpersonal skills
