Position Summary

The HR Generalist position provides support in administering HR policies and procedures. Collects and maintains HR data related compensation, benefits, training, recruitment, and etc. This individual will be customer service focused and comfortable in a growth-oriented work environment.

Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:

General

* HR Generalist work experience including but not limited to job descriptions, recruitment, onboarding, classification, salary administration, performance appraisal, employee benefit, LOA's, WC, employee relations, and layoffs.
* Experience in the design and delivery of training, especially on employee on-boarding, salary and benefits related issues to a variety of staff members.
* Assist with the administration of the company culture programs and employee committees.
* Thorough knowledge of a human resources information system (HRIS) including report writing capability, and/or other related business software programs and systems/
* Strong analytical skills to conduct analysis and develop recommendations; demonstrates organizational skills and problem-solving skills.
* Thorough knowledge of human resources policies, employment laws and programs, in multi-state/multi-location environment

Benefits Administration

* Support annual benefit open-enrollment programs
* Maintains a constant supply of informational benefit materials
* Assists with the reconciliation of monthly premium invoices
* Assist with reporting and resolution of workers' compensation and unemployment insurance claims
* Assist with managing Company's Leave of Absence program (LOA), Workers Comp claims, and monitoring of all LOA-related documentation
* Remain current with all applicable Leave of Absence laws and regulations.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related preferred
* 4+ yrs. previous general human resources experience
