Salary range: $75,000 - $82,971
Responsibilities

  • Provide effective employee assistance/service; assist employees with problems and questions related to Human Resources programs and Company policy.
  • Assist team in the recruiting process by screening resumes, scheduling phone screens, and coordinating interviews.
  • Perform a variety of administrative duties include processing recognition awards, filing, processing education reimbursement requests.
  • Assist with COVID tracing, communication with employees and other related administrative support
  • Communicates and administers the employee benefit program in assigned group by explaining benefit programs, resolving employee questions and problems.
  • Increase the understanding and consistent application of company policies, procedures, and practices through one-on-one communication.
  • Conduct new hire orientation
  • Process and verify accuracy and completeness of employee status change forms, vacation, and other leave requests, benefit documentation, educational reimbursement requests.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date personnel records and files.
  • Input into and audit HRIS system information such as wage rate, classifications, payroll data and benefit information.
  • Interface with payroll to assist employees in resolving pay discrepancies.

  • Three years general office experience including a minimum two years of Human Resources experience or equivalent related experience or demonstrated ability to perform described responsibilities
  • Proficient with Microsoft Suite software.
  • Experience with PeopleSoft preferred.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks with changing priorities; and demonstrates exceptional initiative, with close attention to detail and follow-up as required.
  • HR Generalist background with experience performing a wide variety of HR administrative duties including assisting employees with benefit related questions, assisting with the onboarding process, employee event planning, entering data, managing metrics.
  • Good understanding of federal and state labor/employment laws and regulations
  • Must demonstrate effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • College level coursework, professional Human Resources seminars or Human Resources program certificate preferred
