Job description
Overview The HR Coordinator is responsible for providing support of the day-to-day operations in the human resources function. The individual will handle the data entry for staffing administration. The incumbent will have a clear and thorough understanding of HRIS involving processes and policies and a strong customer service focus. Responsibilities ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintain data entry integrity of new hires/PAR's into the HRIS systems. I-9 / E-Verify Compliance. Collaborate with functional HR and cross functional teams to coordinate application upgrades with HRIS. Provide support for HRIS including but not limited to, researching and resolving HRIS problems while maintaining job codes and tables. Performs quarterly audits of HRIS transactions and data to ensure integrity. Provides weekly reports, metrics and attend to other reporting needs. Completes Verification of Employment requests as needed. Participate in implementation of any new initiatives. Use project management skills in participating in for a given HRIS initiative or work stream. Assists in completion of special projects on an as needed basis within the HR Department. Remains current on all state and federal HR laws to ensure compliance with all labor laws to provide a center of excellence. Assists in Receptionist coverage. ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES Demonstrates high degree of professionalism in communication, attitude and teamwork with customers, peers and management. Demonstrates high level of quality work, attendance and appearance. Adheres to all Company Policies & Procedures and Safety Regulations. Adheres to local, state and federal laws. Performs any other duties that may be assigned by Supervisor. Understands and complies with all company rules and regulations Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 1 - 2 years previous HR/Payroll experience preferred. Strong computer experience - Outlook, Excel and Word. Experience with ADP PCPW payroll systems and ADP HRIS. Reporting tool experience is preferred. Highly organized and a self-starter. Detail oriented and adaptable. Ability to work with a high level of integrity and within a confidential department. Strong communication skills and ability to work in all cross functional groups throughout the organization.
