Role Profile


As a member of Neudesic's Business Transformation and Strategy Practice, you will be expected to contribute to the firm's growth and development in a variety of ways. Management Consultants and Senior Management Consultants lead and drive day-to-day interactions with client executives, stakeholders, and sponsors and fill a variety of consultancy roles depending on the client engagement.


As a Management/Senior Management Consultant, you are responsible for and expected to contribute in many of the following areas:


  • Business Analysis: Analyze business processes, systems and people; Translate client's business needs into detailed business requirement documents, process flows, and use cases; Be the voice of the project by leading internal team discussions, end user presentations, and training sessions.
  • Product Management: Partner with client stakeholders to build, create, enhance and develop products and services; Identify and build product specifications and requirements through client and customer interactions and by performing research and analysis; Create product development and marketing strategies; Perform competitive analysis; Conduct business and financial analysis.
  • Digital Strategy: Understand and leverage all things digital including, but not limited to, digital marketing, media, technology, metrics and analytics, social, mobile, and CRM efforts
  • Organizational Change: Create and implement change management strategies and plans that maximize employee adoption and usage, minimize resistance, and create higher ultimate utilization of and proficiency with the changes that impact employees; Focus on the people side of change, including changes to business processes, systems and technology, job roles, and organizational structures.
  • Business Development: Develop and maintain contact with client decision makers; participate and lead aspects of the proposal development process.
  • Practice Development: Develop practical solutions and methodologies; develop "insightful" and "point- of-view" documents, case studies and deliverables.
  • People Development: Mentor and coach personnel; provide input and guidance in the staffing process; participate in staff recruitment and retention activities; provide support for delivery teams and staff.
  • Financial Analysis and Modeling: Perform accounting-oriented balance sheet and cash flow analysis; Utilize Excel to model financial options and perform valuation analysis; Participate in strategic analysis based on financial projections. Create business cases to drive decision making.


Key Responsibilities


  • Understand business outcomes and operational readiness related to a client's needs and objectives
  • Translate a client's strategic direction and business objectives into holistic project plans
  • Design and lead consulting projects for Fortune 1000 clients
  • Manage project scope and risk across the entire digital transformation lifecycle
  • Proactively identify, mitigate and resolve issues that may adversely impact projects
  • Continuously communicate project status and results
  • Execute work plans and drive the preparation of deliverables, presentations and proposals.
  • Coordinate with technical resources in aligning strategies and deliverables to address human interaction with technical solutions
  • Actively align cross-functional stakeholders around objectives, outcomes, and measures of success
  • Collect necessary data on existing workflows to understand organizational impacts related to a specific change to the business group, customer or partner and deliver prescriptive recommendations
  • Analyze proposed changes and determine impacts on business processes and organizational design
  • Conduct diagnostic interviews and clearly aggregate and present results
  • Facilitate meetings and participate in working sessions with clients
  • Present updates and executive presentations to all organization levels ranging from C-Level executives to program leads to drive decisions and next steps
  • Implement communication and training programs that prepare the organization for consumption of new digital business processes and incentivize adoption


Additional Skills, Competencies & Requirements:



  • BA or BS degree from an accredited college or university required, MBA or similar preferred.
  • 5+ years of traditional management consulting experience preferred
  • 3+ years of experience at a leading consulting firm preferred (Accenture, Deloitte, PWC, EY, KPMG Capgemini, Booz Allen Hamilton, Point B, Slalom, etc.)
  • Diversified functional skills and cross industry experience
  • Formal education & experience with Lean, Six Sigma, Systems Theory, Queueing Theory, or other preferred
  • Working understanding of Kotter and Prosci preferred
  • Demonstrated understanding of Agile (iterative) and Waterfall (sequential) program management
  • Demonstrated financial and risk analysis competency
  • Demonstrated strategic planning and analysis competency
  • Highly effective problem solving and analytical skills (gathering, synthesizing and analyzing complex quantitative and qualitative data; experience analyzing and building business processes; utilizing relationship management tools)
  • Dedicated willingness to meet crucial goals, objectives, and deadlines
  • Reliable leadership abilities, accountability, and initiative
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, ability to handle diverse situations, multiple initiatives, and rapidly changing priorities
  • Show intellectual curiosity and interest in learning about Neudesic practices
