  • As the Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will provide full-life cycle recruiting for various departments, to include sourcing, screening, qualifying, interviewing, and handling candidate relationships while guiding hiring managers through the assessment and selection process. You will handle opposing priorities, remain highly flexible in a constantly evolving environment while consistently anticipating and delivering exceptional recruitment solutions. The ability to source and recruit qualified talent while maintaining excellent customer service with managers, candidates and other team members is important.


Responsibilities:
  • Demonstrable ability to apply a business approach to the recruitment function.
  • Makes connections between all talent management phases (acquisition, development, retention, engagement)
  • Uses data and market intelligence to create and implement staffing strategies.
  • Optimally blends diversity, regulatory requirements and business strategy throughout the process.
  • Demonstrates a deep understanding of the external recruiting landscape within their function.
  • Ability to successfully source and attract passive external talent.
  • Solid understanding of Boolean search methodology and execution.
  • Communicate sourcing data in weekly conversations with hiring managers, HR, and recruitment leadership.
  • Attain a high-level understanding of company business, program, technological and cultural challenges.
  • Influences hiring managers, executives, candidates, and peers by developing positive relationships.
  • Advises hiring managers on effective interviewing techniques.
  • Effectively reviews compensation, employee relations and business partners when counseling the business.
  • Constructively pushes back and conducts important conversations with hiring managers as needed.
  • Consistently promotes and adheres to compliance, diversity and recruitment processes.
  • Routinely identifies innovative solutions to program, policy and process challenges.
  • Accurately assesses candidates (via in-person or phone) for cultural, proficiency and skill fit.
  • Quickly synthesizes candidate and hiring manager feedback.
  • Routinely pre-closes candidates (early in the process) to ensure high acceptance rates.


Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of professional experience in Recruiting or Human Resources.
  • Previous experience in agency, corporate recruiting, or human resources.
  • Full-life cycle recruiting that includes sourcing, screening, assessment & selection, and closing.
  • Demonstrated experience directly sourcing external passive talent.
  • Demonstrable experience in sourcing methodologies, assessment & selection of talent, and closing strategies.
  • Prior experience conducting basic compensation analysis and presenting compensation philosophies/ employee value propositions.
