Reporting to the Dir, Creative, the Mgr, Traffic will be responsible for using the work management platform to manage workflows/processes for the Marketing/Creative Team. The Mgr, Traffic is the central contact point for all project work that flows through the Marketing/Creative Team. The Mgr, Traffic is highly skilled at running a campaign from concept through to delivery, as well as being competent in allocating resources, monitoring, and reporting on the statuses of projects daily. The Mgr, Traffic must be comfortable working within an ever-changing environment and thrives on daily challenges.
In this role you must have a passion for print, digital, and web environments. You will have a thorough understanding of the creative process, relish working in a fast-paced environment, and be able to manage multiple project deadlines and deliverables. You will have solid management, organizational, and communication skills to effectively process the workflow throughout the department.
Responsibilities
Proficiency working within the Adobe Workfront environment, a project management platform, in a corporate in-house production/creative department.
Daily coordination with internal creative team to develop creative briefs, interface with internal clients to define project requirements based on staff capacity, delegating and assigning work, managing timelines, and tracking progress of the various stages of a project.
Distributes assignments to creative teams and other departments, depending on their availability and priorities.
Creates and improves workflows and processes of the step-by-step details that take to get clients' work produced within a creative environment from start to finish.
Responsible for forecasting, coordinating and scaling the resources of PDS to ensure that projects are delivered with high-quality and efficiency.
Oversees the process of print and digital marketing materials.
Creates detailed schedules and set deadlines for various stages of a project. Makes changes to schedules according to the daily work schedule reviews.
Meet with internal marketing stakeholders to learn more about new project details and continually give progress updates on existing projects, communicating any issues.
Reviews all new projects entered in the system by internal marketing stakeholders, identifying and resolving any scheduling conflicts.
Manages the relationships with freelancers and contractors and ensures they have the resources needed for their jobs.
Other duties as assigned by management.
Required
Bachelor's Degree in business, marketing or related fields from an accredited college or university is required. In lieu of degree, 8+ years of experience is required.
5-8 years at a work management or project management position in marketing/advertising position on the agency side.
Experience with work management tools.
Preferred
Experience in healthcare, dental or retail industry.
Impressive copy writing skills is a plus.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Must be proficient in Adobe Workfront.
Strong ability to manage daily operations of department(s) or work unit while developing short to medium term (1-3 years) goals.
