Job description

Client Domain/Industry: (Electronics) - Experis, a ManpowerGroup company has an exciting job opportunity for a HR Generalist (Only W2). This position is a 6 months' Contract with high chances of extensions/conversion, for one of our key clients, a major Electronic MNC which is a worldwide leader in the development of diverse electronics technologies and solutions for customers in the consumer electronics.

Location: Lake Forest, CA - 92630 (Remote as of now but may be required to go into the office from time to time)
Skills/ Experience Needed:

  • BONUS if they have experience in Workday and Payroll Services

Job roles and responsibilities:

  • Functioning as generalist, develop, administer, and implement Human Resources policies and programs, partnering with business operations to ensure a complete understanding of business needs and objectives.
  • Resolves a range of Human Resource-related issues of moderate to high complexity.
  • Prepare or maintain employment records related to events, such as hiring, termination, leaves, transfers, or promotions
  • Administer, maintain, and review recordkeeping of Covid 19 vaccination and weekly testing records.
  • Complete weekly or monthly attestations per government or airport requirements.
  • Maintain administration of FMLA from the employee's initial notice of the need for leave to the return to work. This includes gathering and completing all required paperwork, determining leave eligibility, designating leave as FMLA-qualifying, requesting medical certification as needed, and accounting for intermittent and reduced schedule leave use
  • Coordinate ADA accommodation requests through investigation and analysis
  • Support employees in the exploration of alternatives in performing work and for ADA compliance
  • Assist in the final determination of ADA accommodation requests.
  • Respond to internal and external SOX auditors for HR-related information requests in areas such as new hires, terminations, compensation, and performance review process.
  • Administer immigration (Visas, H1-B, etc.) cases for transitioning employees to Lake Forest.
  • Partner in the research, development, and implementation of HR policies.
  • Provide information to employees and managers on payroll matters
  • Partner with Manager of Brand and Creative to commemorate service award recipients
