The Manufacturing Engineering; Equipment Engineer is responsible for improving overall equipment effectiveness. There will be a lot of opportunity to work with cross functional team and implement kaizen across our processes.

This position is part of the Maintenance Engineering and will be located in Lodi, CA.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Lead maintenance engineering to solve complex problems; uses sophisticated analytical thought to exercise judgement and identify innovative solutions
• Generate, write and continuously improve PM procedures
• Drive initiatives to improve product quality, increase part throughout, decrease equipment downtime, and strengthen safety measures
• Train equipment maintenance technicians
• Work with vendors to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of related work experience
• Hands-on equipment experience with hand tools and machine shop tooling expertise
• Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio
• Good Understanding of mechanical design concepts and machinery: Electrical, Mechanical, and Electromechanical schematics, motors, pumps, vacuum, and hydraulics

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Lean 5S Manufacturing knowledge
• PLC and Control Systems
• Vision and Laser Systems
