Job description

Overview

Under the direction and oversight of Director/Manager of Strategic Project Management. This person will be responsible for supporting strategic initiatives and project management teams by defining project parameters and developing project documentation, including business requirements, project plans, project schedules, workflow solutions, and project status reports/communications. He/She will interact with project teams and be responsible for conducting activities that support project execution including with financial validation, data analysis, developing of recommendations and action plans, and assist with research, analysis, and preparation of data and studies. Additionally the position will provide project administrative support at the portfolio level; review change orders, document lessons learned, update documentation and schedules as required for each project and phase, schedule and conduct project meetings to include logistics, agendas, and meeting minutes.

Responsibilities

Assists in development and maintenance of detailed project plan to include project scope, resources, tasks, milestones, budget, and target/actual dates of completion. Provides maintenance of all project artifacts in SharePoint. Provides project administration support at the portfolio level; review change orders, documents lessons learned, document meeting minutes, updates project documentation and schedules as required for each project and phase. Actively participates with financial validation, data analysis, project controls and provides summaries and updates Assists with the preparation of project status reports to management. Schedules and conducts project meetings to include logistics, agendas, and meeting minutes. Actively participates and assists the data analysis process and develops recommendations and action plans. Assists in research, collection, analysis, and preparation of data and studies. Performs all other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in quantitative discipline (e.g. Math, Computer Science, Statistics, or Economics) required. Master's degree preferred. Minimum 2 years of experience required in data analysis and project management field with successful experience in health care process improvement and health information technology implementation experience strongly preferred. Six Sigma Certification, Project Management Professional certification and/or Change Management Certification Highly Desired Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.
