Business Analyst

Location: Los Angeles

Remote during Covid-19, after - Hybrid, 2days on site

M-F, 40hrs/week, 8-5 Pacific Time Zone

Client Industry: IT Department / University

Contract: W2

Duration: 6 Months with possibility to convert to direct hire

Candidates from LA area are strongly encouraged to apply

• Maintain project schedule and weekly status reports
• Take notes during department meetings, collecting minutes, and distributing notes after meetings.
• Drafting project-related documentation based on expressed during meetings ideas and concepts and using existing template library.
• Drafting project requirements, SLAs, SOPs and working with Business Analyst and project team on creating approved versions.
• Coordinating SOP Intake, Triage, and Prioritization process.
• Distribute project related documentation and collects and applies suggested by project team and internal stakeholders changes.
• Helps technical groups in creating final documentation, provides proofreading and coordinate change/approval process.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Previous administrative experience supporting SOP/SLA or procurement processes

Excellent documentation/writing and proofreading skills

Able to work with existing content, models and templates

Familiar with technical and financial terminology

Able to work with multiple calendars

Able to schedule meetings and take minutes

Strong computer skills

PREFERRED

1-2 years previous experience writing technical documentation

Experience with drafting business or technical documentation
