HIGH-END TEXTILE DESIGN/MANUFACTURING - BIG UPSIDE MOVING FORWARD

This internationally known designer, manufacturer, and distributor of high-end residential textiles seeks a Business Development Manager with a passion for sales, art, fashion, textiles, and all things well-made.

The role is an integral part of our client's success. Early on you will develop a strategic account plan and then continuously refine it to capture new ways to enhance the client experience while maximizing sales volume. Known in the market for its rich legacy of innovation and integrity in customized textiles, our client has been featured in Architectural Digest, Elle Decor, House Beautiful, SFC&G, Luxe, and NYC&G.

Drive, flair, likeability, and engaging others one-on-one and in group settings matter. You are strategic, thoughtful, and resourceful. You know how to think holistically and abstractly. Curiosity is critical for the role, particularly as insight into how the customer thinks as well as how to keep improving. You have unmatched energy to grow and develop the business. You are able to build and discuss your pipeline and organize meetings to drive activity and results. You can provide creative and customized solutions to interior designers, and have experience juggling diverse tasks with a tremendous amount of detail.

Required Experience:

  • A mindful, personal sales strategy that measures one's own activity, pipeline, and is geared toward revenue producing results
  • 5 years of Face-to-Face Consultative Selling building long term relationships (built a book of business)
  • Sales of High-End Products or Services to both Prospects and Existing Clients
  • High End Textiles/Lighting/Custom Carpets/Fabric/Art/Fashion/Interior Design
  • Must live in the Los Angeles area
