Job description

Publicly traded food manufacturer located in Los Angeles is looking for a hands-on CFO. While working closely with the CEO, the CFO will oversee accounting and finance, business operations, and systems/IT. The CFO will ensure timely SEC (10Q and 10k) filings, SOX compliance, efficient accounting policies and procedures, and monitor staff production. The CFO will perform strategic analysis, create and analyze the fiscal budget, manage company operations, production, and supply chain, oversee inventory, review cash flow reporting and cyclical variances, identify market segments for expansion - being responsible for the profitability of the organization. The CFO will collaborate with investors, business partners, external auditors, and the audit committee, as well as give executive presentations on company performance.

• Qualified candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
• CPA is extremely preferred.
• Publicly traded company, SOX compliance experience is needed.
• Food & beverage, consumer products industry experience is required.
• Direct oversight of SEC (10Q and 10k) reporting is also required.
• Must be hands-on. Must be willing to roll up your sleeves and participate in the work.
• Solid career track.

• Background of enhancing accounting policies and procedures.
• Exceptional leadership qualities.
• Ability to work with various personnel is essential.
• ERP systems and strong Excel skills are important.
