We are seeking an attorney with a minimum of five plus years of experience for a position supporting our Small Business Banking group within the Consumer and Small Business Banking division of Wells Fargo. The individual selected will join a team of professionals responsible for providing legal support in connection with commercial lending, with an emphasis on real estate and personal property secured lending, and the regulatory laws that govern small business lending, including consumer lending related laws such as UDAP, UDAAP, Regulation B, HMDA, FCRA, and FDCPA, among others. This individual will also provide legal support to Wells Fargo's Paycheck Protection Program.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a practicing attorney
- Active State Bar membership

- Ability to analyze legal and regulatory issues in area of practice and provide effective advice to clients on complex legal matters
- Extensive experience conducting research and providing counsel and guidance regarding complex legal issues
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy skills
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to effectively organize and prioritize work while handling multiple matters
- Ability to work effectively in a complex environment with a high degree of collaboration
- Effective in building partnerships, functioning well with project teams, and working for the success of the team
Other Desired Qualifications
- Relevant experience in commercial finance legal issues
- Knowledge of applicable banking regulations
- Relevant experience with SBA lending programs, including the Paycheck Protection Program

- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
