Role Purpose Statement
The incumbent is responsible for managing all aspects of a department's operations in a Service Kitchen to ensure customer expectations are met in regards to productivity, quality and safety.
Main Accountabilities
Strategically plan, organize, and manage a multi-unit kitchen with regards to daily hours, schedules, productivity, quality and safety. Responsible for department costs to budget through effective manpower planning, scheduling and overtime usage
Ensure compliance with customer specifications, quality standards, Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), safety, health, environmental and other regulations
Ensure on-time and accurate production in the preparation of food/equipment and order fulfilment
Responsible for customer satisfaction and ownership of marketing initiatives.
Maintain an ongoing, positive and pro-active relationship with all internal and external customers
Provides recommendations on business improvement and advises senior leadership on labor issues including, safety, security, employee relations, scheduling, training etc.

Ensures that a team of high performing support staff is in place
Communicates the importance of building success the right way: through the creation of culture to empower employees.
Supports the efforts of the team developing excellent kitchens, maintaining an effective system of marketing, and building an effective facilities support and maintenance program
Provides leadership, direction, training, and development to supervisors and teams
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Bachelor's Degree In addition, 5-7 years of proven multi-unit leadership in a service, QSR and /or fast casual restaurant environment, preferred
Proven success of developing high performing teams
Ability to manage P&L cost and developing/implementing corrective action to address issues
Solid knowledge of the service kitchen or QSR industry, with a focus on hospitality
Ability to work in a team environment
Preferred proficiency in restaurant operations, back of house and related systems
Strong presentation, communication, training and interpersonal skills
