Job description

We are looking for an outgoing HR Administrator to join our fantastic team!

The HR Administrator will work out of our corporate office in downtown Los Angeles (this is not a remote position). The position requires knowledge of recruitment, as well as experience with the administrative duties of an HR Administrator. We are looking for someone who considers themselves to be detail-oriented, a go-getter, hard-working, and passionate about what they do. The ideal candidate is one who thrives in a fast-paced working environment.

Responsibilities

  • Forming and Maintaining Employee records
  • Assist with Recruiting and Onboarding Process including guiding candidates through the recruitment process
  • Assist in completing Verifications of Employment, and any other written requests regarding employment information
  • Comply employee information using reports and perform data entry
  • Assist in drafting Coaching and Counseling's Forms
  • Scanning, renaming and filing all HR Documents and Forms
  • Conducting Yearly I-9 Audit and maintaining accurate records of all I-9 forms
  • Manage the DMV Pull Check and all Driving records
  • Familiar in employment law and the FLSA, ensuring company-wide compliance
  • Assist with distributing company acknowledgments and/or changes to current policy
  • Assist with employee inquiries. This requires answering a high volume of employee-related calls or emails per day and following up on all inquiries in a timely manner
  • Assisting in Employee Relations investigations
  • Familiar with FMLA and LOA processes and procedures
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality in regards to employee and company data
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested

Minimum Requirements

  • Previous HR experience (minimum 2 years)
  • Pass a 5-panel Drug Screen
  • Take an Integrity Test
  • Clear a Background and Credit check
  • Type at least 40wpm
  • Pass a computer literacy assessment exhibiting proficient knowledge of Word and Excel
  • Benefits knowledge (strongly preferred)
  • Bilingual in Spanish (preferred)
  • Must have experience with Applicant Tracking and Payroll Systems (preferably Paycom but others are acceptable)
