To support this growth, we're seeking a Regional Business Development Manager based in Los Angeles to build the western region. This is a unique opportunity to join a well-established company that has been servicing the contract furniture industry for more than 10 years, but in a newly created sales role where you'll connect businesses and architect/design/build industry professionals with our quality products and tailored services.

Additionally how you'll share your talents as a Regional Business Development Manager / Account Executive:

Continuously identify prospecting opportunities in hospitality, multi-family, senior living and workplace through existing customer relationships and building new relationships.

Drive sales by proactively engaging with customers virtually and/or in-person to gain an understanding of their projects and functional requirements and leveraging the assortment to offer creative solutions that build the customer confidence to make decisions.

Effectively present Room & Board in networking groups and trade events by sharing information about the company, products and services that meet the distinct needs of the commercial customer

Collaborate and partner across the broader Business Interiors team to support customer projects

Act as a bridge to our stores and central partners by sharing insights learned from the customer and trends in the market and may influence future development of the assortment.

Identify and engage in opportunities to inform the Business Customer growth strategy including insight about tools and resources needed for effective business customer interactions.

Mentor and collaborate with local showrooms to support business customer sales growth.

What you'll bring:

The ideal candidate for this Regional Business Development Manager role brings established relationships and 5+ years of sales experience in the commercial/contract - Furnishings, Fixtures & Equipment (FF&E) industry. The individual brings an entrepreneurial spirit, a collaborative work style and a demonstrated track record of growing sales and building successful relationships in our virtual world. Additionally, you will live within a reasonable driving distance to our Los Angeles showroom -
