THE COMPANY

THE POSITION

We are looking for an experienced, forward-thinking operational leader, who has both strong people management and analytical skills to lead our operations teams. Working with executive and clinical leadership, this role will be responsible for defining MHS standard operating processes across all markets, including how technology is used to enable the defined process and care delivery model.

Job Requirements

  • Develop and implement operational standards systems to enhance the patient experience.
  • Demonstrates expertise in coordinating, directing, and managing all aspects of outpatient healthcare services within the Region and/or Division.
  • Executes on organizational goals by leading initiatives, meeting deadlines, coordinating resources, and providing accountability.
  • Responsible for the hiring, training and supervision of market leadership roles including Director of Operations and other key operational roles.
  • P&L Management and assisting with the development of the annual operational budgets for each region and market
  • Partner with admission and intake functions to provide effective, efficient and consumer friendly services.
  • Effectively partner with talent strategy team to ensure effective and highly quality recruitment needs are being met.
  • Ensures facility compliance and regulatory requirements are met through annual audit process.
  • In coordination with Clinical leadership, provides regular onsite reviews of operations to ensure quality patient care and staff support and communicates status to leadership.
  • Conducts Monthly Operating Reviews (MOR) with each region/market and communicates key issues to appropriate hospital and/or Division leadership.
  • Responsible for optimizing patient access and resource utilization while ensuring patient, physician, and staff satisfaction.
  • Identify and implement cross-functional process improvements, and partner closely with other key organizational leaders including Talent Strategy, IT and Finance teams
  • Document operational policies and procedures
  • Lead, persuade, influence, to optimize operational team effectiveness and efficiency
  • Contribute to organization's growth and profitability by providing operational expertise to market leadership including mentorship, guidance, and thought leadership

Qualifications

  • 7 years minimum experience (director and above) leading a multi-site, multi-state healthcare operations function
  • Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, including demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and tactfully to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Work and collaborate effectively within a team environment
  • Previous experience scaling operations functions both in existing and designated growth markets
  • Experience working with electronic health record (EHR) technology systems required
  • Previous experience in a physician practice setting highly preferred.
  • Proven leadership experience with previous demonstrated success in achieving quality patient outcomes and effective management and retention of critical staff.
  • Ability to exercise mature and sound judgment in the management of financial operations; exceptional communication skills and ability to analyze data and report concise, accurate reports; knowledge of current state and federal regulatory requirements; excellent computer skills
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Healthcare Management or related field required, MBA or MHA Preferred
