**Laboratory Assistant I-II, Menlo Park, CA**

**Summary:**

This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast paced cutting edge clinical lab environment. You will work in a team environment which includes project managers and clinical lab ops specialists. As an Accessioner, you will perform patient sample intake, accessioning and return. This will entail following SOPs and working with Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) and other software. This role will also perform shipping / receiving, recording and inventorying of samples sent for laboratory testing.

**Responsibilities:**

+ Confirming incoming samples such as blood, plasma, tissue meet acceptability standard for testing

+ Labeling samples with associated unique lab identifiers & maintaining sample inventory logs

+ Preparing and packaging samples for shipping & receiving to clients or other testing sites

+ Logging test reports and other sample data into LIMS

+ Work closely with the Lab Processing Team to provide consistent and ongoing support to the entire Operations department

+ Other duties as assigned

**Requirements:**

+ Bachelor of Arts or Science in Biological Sciences, Health Information Systems, Biomedical Laboratory Science, Clinical Science or related field

+ 0-5 years' of laboratory experience

+ Proficient computing skills and strong attention to detail

Tuesday - Sat, 12pm - 8:30pm

Sun-Thurs, 9am - 5pm
