Job Description
We are looking for self-motivated individual to support Client+ Business Unit. This person will work closely with internal key stakeholders to translate WDC long term business goals (Revenue, Share, Margin) into an executable operating plan:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
TAM & Market Trend Analysis
- Actualize current quarter and publish TAM at quarterly cadence
- Identifying market signal, analyzing various external and internal data points to develop initial TAM/ Market Sizing model for PC OEM segment
- Further triangulation of these data points through various lenses to solidify your assumptions.
- Establishing close coordination with business marketing and segment marketing team & incorporating their input in TAM model.
- Socialize TAM with Business Marketing and Planning teams on quarterly cadence
- Closely working with pricing team to understand supply sufficiency and provide long term GM/ pricing guidance
Long Range Planning & Business Cases
- Forecast and publish WD Long Range Plan on bi-annual basis
- Understand long term market trends, competitive landscape and product roadmap to model WDC long range revenue and GM plan
- Help product management with business cases
Qualifications
REQUIRED:
- Minimum 5 years of industry experience in business operations, planning or finance in high tech or similar industry
SKILLS:
- Extremely detail oriented, well organized, high standard of accuracy and ability to multi-task
- Exceptional financial modeling skills using Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical skills and business acumen
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to summarize complex and technical issues / analysis into simple and clear messaging for Senior management
- Solid interpersonal skills with proven ability to develop and maintain effective business partner relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Proactive and independent person who identifies issues and drives them to resolution
- Ability to work both independently and on cross functional teams
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities
