Are you looking for a role where you will develop, oversee, implement, and manage compensation strategies that support business strategies and objectives? You will play a key role to help the organization attract, motivate, develop, and retain a high performing and engaged workforce. You will have an opportunity to lead large, complex, or multiple projects that help drive business strategies. You will perform complex research and analysis on compensation policies and practices in the areas of job evaluation, base salary, variable pay, pay structures, internal equity, external market trends, and regulatory compliance.

What You Will Do

Compensation Client Support

  • Proactively leads team to build consultative and collaborative relationship with HR and Talent Acquisition Partners and business leaders on compensation programs and initiatives.
  • Provides leadership and support to broader HR community and leadership by fielding and addressing general compensation questions and data inquiries.
  • Provides thought leadership on competitive marketplace, business issues and challenges to effectively design or recommend new compensation plans, programs and/or policies.
  • Assesses and develops the business case and ROI for new and existing compensation programs and projects that support the unique needs of different business clients.
  • Analyzes data sets to distill insights, conveys findings and make recommendations to business partners.
  • Leads to continuously improve compensation standard work and practices.
  • Develops and guides team to research, review and implement company compensation infrastructure including job evaluations, market pricing and pro-active analysis.
  • Oversees team to support clients, Organizational Development, HRBPs, Employee Relations and compensation team on job architecture (re-orgs) for new and existing roles within client groups.
  • Oversees and delegates day to day client work to include offers, job evaluation requests,
Compensation Programs
  • Oversees the college recruiting programs for the Operational groups including new grad, MBA, interns, and development programs.
  • Manages rate sheets and frequently recruited roles to ensure rapid recruiting, compliance, and consistency.
  • Oversees Union compensation related programs and activities.
  • Manages Compensation Policies and Practices related to Operational Client Groups.
  • Core Process (Annual Compensation Reviews)
  • Leads the annual equity review process for Operational groups, providing insights on market trends and collaborating with the Compensation Data- Insights & Analytics team member to integrate into Corporatewide data set.
  • Serves as an integral member of the Core Process team planning and running the global annual Core Process (performance/compensation planning and review process) and Operational promotion cycles including maintaining workplans, timelines, communications, data and tools, analysis, and reporting, etc.
  • Supports Executive Compensation Planning.
  • Leads the completion and submission of annual salary surveys for Operational client groups and makes recommendations on which surveys to participate in based on business insights and best practices.
What You Need
  • High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate.
  • Bachelor's degree plus 7 years of Compensation Analysis experience to include implementation and administration of compensation plans reflecting increasing levels or responsibility; OR Bachelor's degree plus 9 years of experience in Human Resources, Finance/Accounting or Mathematics to include implementation and administration of compensation plans reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; or High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 11 years of experience in Human Resources or Finance to include experience in Compensation Analysis to include implementation and administration of compensation plans reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Strong Cross Functional Partnership, influencing and communication skills.
  • Experience partnering with and providing consultation to HRBPs and senior leaders.
  • Experience with identifying insights from large data sets to make informed business decisions.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills and process documentation skills.
What Will Set You Apart
  • Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) with a concentration in Human Resources, Finance, Accounting, or Economics or Master's degree in I/O Psychology plus 5 years of experience in Human Resources, Compensation Analysis, Job Evaluation, Market Pricing or Finance reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR Bachelor's degree plus 11 years of experience in Human Resources, Compensation, Finance, Accounting to include implementation and administration of compensation plans reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Experience in sales, international or executive compensation administration.
  • Leadership experience to include providing coaching mentoring or directing the work of others.
  • Consulting experience working for a major consulting house/firm.
  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or Global Remuneration Professional (GRP).
  • Experienced in Lean Six Sigma problem solving methodologies or LSS certified.
  • Advanced skills in Excel, Tableau and PowerPoint
