Job description

As the Continuing Airworthiness Manager, through a partnership with the Network Operations team and our customers, you will be responsible to ensure that the Matternet system stays operational across the globe.

You will:

* Be responsible for the airworthiness management of assigned aircraft from an OEM perspective.
* Provide Quality Control, Maintenance Control, the Maintenance Due Reports to help build a working required maintenance schedule forecast.
* Manage the aircraft maintenance program requirements and documentation.
* Create service bulletins, service guidance, and maintenance tasks for the Matternet system.
* Ensure that Engineering, Quality, Operations, and Safety procedures are complied with to achieve good maintenance practices.
* Ensure timely resolution of customer issues with required service reports.
* Ensure that all aircraft have required and updated documentation.
* Establish and manage procedures and tools for maintenance and support.
* Perform maintenance planning and control, along with the management oversight of inspections, repairs and modifications internally, and with our contract maintenance providers.
* Maintain a good relationship with Matternets customers through regular communication and feedback, while proactively providing recommendations for modifications and upgrades, as necessary.
* Maintain fleet overview with emphasis on aircraft configuration, Airworthiness status, and customer compliance of Matternet released system updates.
* Ensure UMM and other maintenance documentation are up to date and reflect aircraft configuration.
* Any other ad hoc tasks as required by Quality Assurance Manager, Safety Manager, or Head of Global Operations.
* Comply with internal company policies and procedures, while fostering company vision and goals.

Requirements

* Bachelors degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent + applicable experience.
* A&P license.
* 5+ years of experience in Part 135, 121, 21 commercial or OEM aviation.
* Experience with commercial Part 135, 145, 121, 21 aircraft maintenance or inspection.
* Technical knowledge and/or experience with aircraft avionics and UAS systems.
* Excellent technical writing skills, organizational, leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Problem-solving attitude while remaining comfortable with ambiguity.
* Track record of reliable and responsible performance.
* Experience remaining adaptable and flexible to changing priorities.
* Flexibility in working times either due to operations schedules or due to time zone difference with HQ or Customers.
* English proficiency (C1+).

* Part 107 Certification.
