Lets do this. Lets change the world. During this program, as a member of our Global Regulatory Affairs Execution Team, you will support Amgen's regulatory affairs organization in their mission to bring innovative medicines to the patients who need them, with speed, compliance and efficiency.

  • You will pursue short-term projects with advice and support from your assigned manager, to improve how we share clinical trial information with the public.
  • You can expect to use your skills in information gathering, analysis, collaboration, and decision making to support changes in our processes or systems.
  • Along the way, you'll gain exposure to policy, current challenges, and an understanding of how diverse roles within R & D contribute to our shared mission.
  • Past interns have managed process improvements, designed/ built internal websites, and developed a prototype system to enable new capabilities within our function.

Basic Qualifications

Amgen requires that all individuals applying for a grad internship or a co-op assignment at Amgen must meet the following criteria:

  • 18 years or older
  • Graduated with a Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university with a 3.0 minimum GPA or equivalent
  • Currently enrolled in an MBA program for an MBA internship OR a Masters program for a Masters internship OR a PharmD program for a PharmD internship OR PhD for a PhD internship from an accredited college or university and completion of the first year of MBA OR Masters OR Pharm D OR PhD program before internship starts
  • Enrolled in an accredited college or university following the potential internship or co-op assignment
  • Must not be employed at the time the internship starts

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree concentration(s) in Regulatory Science, Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Biotech, Bioengineering
  • Basic knowledge of pharmaceutical regulatory environment and clinical research
  • Programming or systems experience
  • Advanced written/oral communication and analytical skills
  • Strong time and project management skills and perseverance with a drive for results
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with others, including remotely
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct independent research
