Our Services:
The Child and Family Guidance Center provides comprehensive and collaborative outpatient mental health services to children, adolescents and their families throughout the San Fernando and Antelope Valleys.
The Position:
We are seeking a full-time Human Resources Clerk for our Human Resources department. This position will be responsible for supporting five Human Resources staff and all functions within the Human Resources department.

Job Requirements:
Essential Job Functions:
- Assists with creation of forms an fillable documents.
- Completes electronic filing of documents in HCM system.
- Assembles orientation packets for new hires and emails out instructions for completion.
- Creates personnel files for all new hires, scans and maintains accurate employee personnel records in HCM system.
- Assists with annual benefits open enrollment.
- Conducts State and Federal sanction reviews on a monthly basis.
- Completes Verification of Employment requests.
- Coordinates or schedules Zoom and off-site meeting rooms for HR meetings and trainings.
- Places orders HR supplies, as needed, in coordination with Executive Assistant.
- Collects and submits HR credit card receipts to accounts payable.
- Provides administrative support to 5 members of the HR Team.
Skills You Need:
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
- Must be able to exemplify the Center's "Workplace Vision" of treating everyone with dignity and respect.
- Minimum of 2 years of successful administrative work.
- MS Excel (pivot tables), Word, Outlook and PowerPoint and Adobe proficiency preferred.
- Must be have a high level of attention to detail/accuracy, highly organized, resourceful, productive, and dependable.
- Must have a good sense of judgment in handling employee issues as pertaining to the position.
- Must be able to prioritize and plan work activities and use time effectively.
- Must be a self-starter and be able to work independently with minimal oversight.
- Must be able to complete projects and reports in a timely fashion.
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality of all employee records, information and employee situations.
- Must be able to get along with others in a courteous and respectful manner.
- Must have a good attendance record in addition to being punctual by consistently being on time to work, meetings, and appointments.
- Must continuously have a clean driving record in order to be insurable under the Center's automobile insurance policy.
Hours:
- FSLA Status: non-exempt
- 40 Hours (Full Time) 8:00 am- 5:00 pm (Monday- Friday)
- Work schedule is based on the needs of the Center
Education Required:
- BA degree preferred (Human Resources, Business Administration, psychology or related field)
