Job description

Who We Are

At Roche, we are passionate about transforming patients' lives, and we are bold in both decision and action - we believe that good business means a better world. That is why we come to work every single day. We commit ourselves to scientific rigor, unassailable ethics, and access to medical innovations for all. We do this today to build a better tomorrow.

Roche is strongly committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. We strive to build teams that represent a range of backgrounds, perspectives, and skills. Embracing diversity enables us to create a great place to work and to innovate for patients.

The Opportunity

Roche diagnostics has a broad portfolio across six customer areas that include our widely-used molecular, pathology, point-of-care and core solutions in conjunction with our provider insights and lab insights information solutions. The Portfolio Management team works as part of the Portfolio and Project Management group to help each customer area within DIA track and manage their portfolio from a strategic vantage point. In total, the 6 Customer Area Portfolio Managers will help shepherd a portfolio of projects and solutions that support annual revenues of more than 10B CHF and require an R&D investment of more than 1.5B CHF.

As part of the Portfolio Management team, the Customer Area Portfolio Manager for Molecular Labs will work directly with the Customer-Area head (Cindy Perettie) and Business teams to provide portfolio insights for our cutting-edge molecular and sequencing systems. They'll work closely with Cross Portfolio Managers to think holistically about the Diagnostics portfolio and ensure that strategic trade-offs are made that maximize our impact. For Molecular Labs, this will include the added challenge of figuring out how to continue to collaborate well with our key partners whilst integrating several recent acquisitions.

In keeping with the spirit of transformation, this position will provide an opportunity to work in a matrixed environment as part of a flat team. There will be an emphasis on senior stakeholder management: establishing trust, influencing without authority, and delivering impact. By providing customized portfolio data, you'll play a key role in ensuring our business drives towards ever-improving patient outcomes.
