Senior Finance Manager, Operations FP&A

An experienced, collaborative and results-oriented individual to join our 10X team.

About The Role

This position will provide financial analysis and accounting support that will help guide business decisions for the Operations organization. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record as a business partner to Operations leadership teams with a strong data driven analysis and planning background.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Driving the design of monthly/quarterly Operations reporting packages and dashboards that provide key insights to drive relevant business/financial decisions and actions in a timely manner.
  • Building scalable annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes for the Operations organization, while meeting Corporate FP&A requirements and timelines.
  • Collaborating cross-functionally to ensure strategic projects are aligned with Operations priorities and to help drive the process for prioritization and rationalization of investment.
  • Identifying automation opportunities that improve financial reporting efficiency as well as proposing tools and approaches for project accounting.
  • Managing SOX compliant monthly/quarterly close process.
  • Proactively partnering with Operations leadership at all levels to align financial targets and provide analytical support and financial guidance to help with various business decisions.
  • Delivering investment and cost analysis for strategic projects.
  • Supporting Operations business partners in preparation for Quarterly Business Reviews and financial forecast reviews.
To Be Successful In The Role, You Will Need
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • A minimum of 15 years of relevant business experience in a financial planning and analysis role supporting a multi-national team, preferably in a high growth environment.
  • Strong collaborator and comfortable operating in a matrix organization that is a geographically dispersed and culturally diverse group.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills/modeling.
  • Highly detail oriented and organized.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills required.
  • Good understanding of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication and influencing skills.
  • Demonstrated success working in a deadline driven and multi-task, fast-paced environment.
It Would Be Fantastic If You Already Had
  • MBA, CPA, or CMA certification
  • Experience in the life science industries
  • Experience with Oracle and Anaplan
