Job description

Reporting to SVP Finance, Global Controller, the Procurement Manager designs and executes Amobee's strategy regarding supply of goods and services to the Company. Responsibilities include strategizing to find cost-effective agreements and suppliers and working with other team members to determine ways to cut expenses where possible, freeing resources for other purposes.

Responsibilities

* Oversee planning and strategic implementation of strategic goals for procurement, with a focus on department goals, timelines, budgets, communication, results tracking, and celebration.
* Collaborate closely with other departments such as Engineering, Legal, Sales, Marketing, and other departments.
* Assess department performance against both annual goals and plans. Provide recommendations based on operational analysis, research, and projections, cost identification and allocation, and resource analysis.
* Manage all purchasing activities and establish purchasing processes and procedures.
* Build effective and efficient relationships with suppliers with the intent on a long-term, mutually beneficial relationship.
* Negotiate contracts with vendors to secure advantageous terms. Help to control spending and building a culture of long-term savings related to procurement.
* Evaluate effectiveness of existing contracts, and work with Legal and appropriate department head(s) to improve contracts as appropriate.
* Evaluate and analyze purchasing trend and price trend to identify forecasting demand and minimize purchasing costs. Track and report key functional metrics related to improvements in Procurement's efficiency and effectiveness.
* Collaborate with other team members to ensure clarity of expectations and specifications.
* Be aware of industry trends that could impact suppliers and/or their relationship with Amobee.
* Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

* Excellent communication skills
* Strong leadership skills
* Team player at all levels to collaborate with business partners like IT, Finance, HR, legal, etc
* Solid operational management and general business skills
* Working knowledge of finance and/or accounting in terms of budgeting, financial accounting, treasury, risk management, etcIn-depth knowledge of sourcing and procurement principles and best practices
* Strong negotiation skills Experience with modern sourcing and procurement systems
* Familiarity with relevant legislative and regulatory requirements, as well as understanding of standard contractual terms and conditions to mitigate legal risks
