SUPERVISES: There are no direct reports with this position.
POSITION SUMMARY: Under limited supervision, the Senior Recruiter markets PRIDE's job opportunities and recruits external applicants to obtain employment with PRIDE. This job class requires knowledge of applicant sourcing techniques, interviewing, employment laws related to hiring, and the ability to effectively identify and match applicants' skill sets with open positions in a variety of departments. Employees in this job class have advanced knowledge of and ability to use techniques to identify and select qualified personnel, both internally and externally, for a wide range of positions.
TYPICAL DUTIES:1. *Interviews external and internal applicants through phone and in-person interviews.
2. *Screens candidates to match background and work experience to written job description.
3. *Coordinates interview and recruiting process with managers and other staff as necessary.
4. *Ensures the accuracy and completion of all applicant documentation including the PRIDE employment application, resume, pre-employment screenings and offer letters. Ensures this documentation is provided to Human Resources for the personnel file.
5. *Markets job opportunities through job postings, Internet sources, job fairs, referrals, and other sources of external applicants.
6. *Works with Human Resources to determine appropriate starting salary for external and internal candidates.
7. *Maintains documentation for all open and closed positions, offer and denial letters and related recruiting documentation. Updates jobs and applicant files.
8. *Conducts employment reference checks on final candidates.
9. *May act as a resource to lower level recruiters.
10. *Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:•High School Diploma or G.E.D. required; Bachelor's degree preferred; or equivalent amount of related work experience;
* Minimum of five or more years recruiting experience to include experience with recruiting techniques, technology, and methodologies.
* Knowledge of and ability to pre-select suitable candidates for first and further interviews within the organization.
* Intermediate personal computer expertise including Internet search engine utilization, to post jobs and source applicants;
* Ability to communicate effectively and respond to questions and requests from team, customers and others;
* Effective written communication skills using appropriate business English;
* Human relations skills to maintain effective working relationships with team;
* Effective customer service skills;
* Intermediate computer literacy including knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, database and presentation software;
* Basic mathematical ability including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division;
* Demonstrated customer service, problem solving and common-sense skills.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelors in Business Administration or related field
High School Diploma or GED
A comparable combination of formal education and work experience will be considered.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Employees must have the ability to perform the following physical demands for extended periods of time with or without assistance:
* Viewing computer screen/monitor • Utilizing keyboard • Answering phone/making calls
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Work is performed in a normal office environment with limited privacy and some exposure to background noise. Employees may be required to work in excess of 8 hours in a day and/or 40 hours per week.
