Job Summary
As a Human Resources Manager at Natura, you will be responsible for providing answers and guidance to leaders, managers, and employees regarding our policies, programs, and employment practices . Additionally, you will assist with employee relations and employment law compliance. This position will build and develop effective relationships with the leaders, managers, and employees.
Essential Functions

- Help to facilitate an orderly and efficient HR office environment that provides timely, courteous, and professional support to leaders, managers, and employees
- Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs, including but not limited to disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance management; productivity, recognition, and morale; and training and development
- Handles employment-related inquiries from leaders, managers, and employees, referring complex or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff
- Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations
- Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations and recommended best practices; reviews policies and procedures to maintain compliance
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources and employment law
- Performs other duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
- Thorough knowledge of California and federal employment-related laws and regulations
- Proficient with Google Suite or related software
- Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS platform
- Must be 21 years or older
Preferred Qualifications
- At least two years of human resource management experience preferred
- SHRM-CP or aPHR or PHR certification
- Prior cannabis industry experience a plus
Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Working Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
